Club Membership Disclosure

Any person of any gender, creed, handicap, or race is eligible for Club membership with the following conditions:

  1. MEMBERSHIP DUES MUST BE PAID AND MEMBERS MUST STAY CURRENT IN THIS REGARD. All memberships that are paid annually expire on the last day of the 12th month following the payment date and are automatically renewed month to month unless terminated by written notice to management. All memberships paid monthly or quarterly are considered “until further notice” and can be terminated at anytime by written notice to management. Membership fees are nonrefundable. Use of Club aircrafts by members with arrears constitutes grand theft. Members who are not current with their dues/fees may not be covered by club insurance.
  2. All new Flying Members will be subject to a check-out with a Club approved instructor.
  3. Any member who Uses, Operates, or Maintains Club equipment/aircraft in a manner deemed irresponsible, hazardous or unlawful whether motionless, taxiing, or in the air will may be dismissed, fined, or placed on temporary inactive status.
  4. Any member who Acts, Behaves in a manner detrimental, harmful or disruptive to the Club’s existence, operations, efficiency, safety, or morale and fail to remit any payments required by the Club can be terminated or grounded by Club management.

The requirements for operation of Global Aviation Corp aircrafts are:

  1. Knowledge of appropriate Federal Aviation Rules (FAR), and the Pilots Operating Handbook (POH) on the aircraft you wish to fly,
  2. Current medical certificate
  3. Appropriate insurance coverage (please see administrator as to the coverage requirements)
  4. Non-members (later defined) may operate and rent at posted rates, which are subject to change without notice.
  5. Members, Students or Renters, rent a “wet plane”. This will be defined as fuel and oil.
  6. Private pilots, renters and instructors who purchase fuel do so at their own expense at all airports other than Farmingdale Republic Airport (hereafter KFRG). However if fuel is purchased such purchase will be reimbursed by way of credit to your account, provided that you submit original receipts to the administrator or authorized representative within (30) thirty days of purchase.
  7. Members and/or renters should be aware of the aircrafts condition and status, and are completely responsible for said aircraft upon acceptance. Any and all discrepancies should be reported on the appropriate “squawk” page of the aircraft time book.
  8. Any Member using an aircraft is responsible for damage to that aircraft not covered by insurance until determination of responsibility. Determination of responsibility will be decided by investigation of the FAA inspector, NTSB, insurance company investigator and/or Manager. If the member is found at fault, he or she is responsible and must pay Full Costs. (“Full Cost” refers to deductible insurance costs and any fees and costs associated with returning the aircraft to KFRG.) If the equipment or aircraft is found to be at fault beyond the control of the member, the costs shall become the responsibility of Global Aviation Corp.
  9. Flights outside of the United States must be arranged through the administrator at least (30 Thirty days prior to departure. Liability insurance coverage is required and to be obtained by the member or renter wishing to make such a journey. Insurance must name Global Aviation Corp as an additional insured. Proof of coverage is required at least (15) fifteen days prior to departure.)
  10. Grass field landings at any airport unless in a declared emergency situation are prohibited.

Upon Return

  1. Record start and ending Hobbs and tach time, as well as your name, date and hours flown, airports landed at, and other information requested on flight record.
  2. Call fuel provider or the office to obtain fuel and top off tanks.
  3. Record and report any issues or problems with the aircraft to the office immediately. If you discover any mechanical issue with the aircraft that affect your safety or the safety of the aircraft, it will be grounded immediately regardless of your location. Only the administrator or maintenance officer may release the aircraft from grounding and return it to service.
  4. We ask that you leave the aircraft in a clean and presentable condition. Please remove all trash, personal effects, etc., from the aircraft and secure it at the assigned parking spot (tie down). (Failure to do so will result in a $15.00 cleaning fee)

Reservations and Scheduling

  1. Reservations may be made online (www.flightschedulepro.com) or by calling the office.
  2. Cancellations should be updated for verification on the scheduling system as soon possible regardless of weather conditions a minimum of 24 hours prior to scheduled time. If you fail to show up or cancel, you will be charged (25%) twenty five percent of the length of the reservation at the posted rental charged for your aircraft, regardless of whether or not the next in line is assigned your aircraft.
  3. If you are going to be late in the return of the aircraft, please call the office and advise the administrator of the same.
  4. If making reservation for more than (4) four hours, a minimum of (2) two hours (Hobbs time) will be billed for both single and multi-engine aircraft during weekdays; if making reservations for more than (4) four hours, a minimum of (3) three hours (Hobbs time) will be billed for both single and multi-engine on weekends.
  5. Minimum rental time on any day is (1) one hour (Hobbs time). If flying after hours you must leave a valid credit card on file.

Dues, Rates and Fees

Dues, rates and fees will be clearly posted in the Global Aviation office, and are subject to change without notice. All returned checks will be charge a $50 fee.

Check Out

  1. All pilots and certified flight instructors must be approved by an instructor who is on our insurance policy. Anyone acting as pilot in command, it is recommended you have active Non-owned rental insurance with minimum aircraft damage coverage of $5,000 for single engine and $10,000 for multi-engine. Contact us if you need assistance.
  2. All members and CFI’s are responsible for securing the aircraft in its assigned tie down spot and removing personal items and trash from the aircraft after their flight.
  3. Any found items in the aircraft should be return into the office of Global Aviation, who will store it or them in a secure area for safekeeping.

Prepaid Time
All prepaid time will be charged at the companies posted rates (Hobbs time), on the day the aircraft is actually used or reserved.

Refunds

  1. Global Aviation will refund 100% of monies received (less any usage) within 24 hours of purchase.
  2. Global Aviation will refund 75% of monies received (less any usage) between 24 and 72 hours of purchase.
  3. Global Aviation will refund 50% of monies received (less any usage) between 72 hours of receipt and 30 calendar days of receipt.
  4. After 30 days of receipt, Global Aviation may keep monies received and will not be returned.
